I’m not sure about this sweater – it hangs a little too boxy, I think (or maybe it’s me that’s too boxy!) Also, the yarn is nice and light – perfect for spring – but a little too itchy. And, this one took a little too long to knit for my taste – probably because it was on US 5 needles. Which makes for a nice weight for spring wear, but an awful long time to knit!
Pattern: Hannah Fettig Spring Ribbed Cardigan
Yarn: The Fibre Company Savannah (color Chambray) – I calculated that I would need six skeins, but I ran short and had to order a seventh.
I knit the 40” size, but modified the front ribbed band, making it only 2.5” wide instead of 4” wide. As a result, it hangs open a little more than it’s designed to, but I think it still looks better overall than having such a huge horizontal ribbed section right in front.Pin It
