Insouciant 1

Even though I knit size 38″ (which should be right on-size for me), and even though my gauge was actually tighter than on-gauge for the pattern (17 sts x 22 rows per 4″ block, as opposed to 19 sts  x 24 rows), the FO is still too loose and blousy for me.  I tightly knit the neckline and used a tight bind-off, and that helped, but the body of the top is very oversized.

I like the nubby feel and look of the yarn, but while the fit is very comfortable, I don’t think it’s very flattering.  Also, the loose knit gives it a nice drape, but makes it a little see-through, too.
